Kevin Palu is one of two vocal music directors at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born and raised in Grand Island, NE, and received his undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Following graduation, he moved to Iowa to begin his teaching career, having now taught in Emmetsburg and Waukee before moving to Lewis Central.

      Outside of the classroom, Palu has had the privilege of regularly serving on staff at the Nebraska Show Choir Camp, leading a high school honor choir tour through Europe each summer, and working as a clinician and judge at show choir competitions around the Midwest. He also serves the show choir community by providing an online competition scoring system for over 80 competitions around the country each season.

       At Lewis Central, Mr. Palu directs Chamber Choir, Bass Clef Choir, Corporation, and Singcopation, as well as teaching Humanities, Music Appreciation and assisting with the spring musical.
